On January 1, several members of the executive committee gathered for a dinner in Fairfax to discuss the activity plan for 2024.
On January 6, alumni including Jie Yong and Xin Wang represented Fudan at the CAAGW Lunar New Year Snack Festival.
On January 18, at the Green Court Innovation Center in Rockville, Maryland, Xuan Xu represented the Fudan Alumni Association at the “Green Court Innovation Spring Festival Night.” This event served as a major networking gathering for biotech entrepreneurs and investors in the Greater Washington area. It was initiated by Fudan alumnus and Green Court Group founder Naifen Yu, and co-hosted by the Fudan University Alumni Association of Greater Washington, the Tsinghua University Alumni Association of Greater Washington, the Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association, the Chinese Alumni Associations of Greater Washington (CAAGW), and Yuan Media.

On April 7–8, Jie Yong led a joint trip of the Fudan and Zhejiang University Alumni Associations to Columbus and Dayton, Ohio, to witness the rare total solar eclipse visible in the Eastern United States on the afternoon of April 8.
On April 28, several members of the executive committee met with the presidents of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Beijing Jiaotong University alumni associations in Rockville to discuss preparations for the CAAGW Heishan Barbecue Gathering in May.
On April 30, registration opened for the Heishan Barbecue Gathering.

At the annual Heishan Park Barbecue, more than 30 Fudan alumni and their family members participated. After a fierce tug-of-war tournament, the Fudan team—based at Pavilion J—emerged victorious and won the grand prize: three watermelons.

In the presence of executive committee members, President Kuan Zhang officially passed the leadership torch to incoming President Jie Yong in a handover ceremony. Since June 2022, President Zhang and his committee have made significant contributions to the Fudan Alumni Association of Greater Washington, serving as a bridge between past and future generations of alumni.
